Stephen Burkert

Meet Stephen

Dr. Stephen Burkert is the owner and innovator of Snowbeast Performance. Steve has travelled across the country developing skills and systems for employers, colleagues, and patients. He has developed a complimentary and unique skill set to address mobility and performance needs with special focus on restoring balance physically and mentally.

Along with receiving a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Steve is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.

"As a physical therapist, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to address every person specific to their needs and goals. Physical therapists have the ability to create lasting impact on the people they meet. While I travelled the country, I found needs in every community, and found ambition and satisfaction to address all people individually. Being in the position to heal with my hands, and help people gain the lives they want, has been a rewarding and exceptional adventure."

Steve has found delight in working with many different populations. He enjoys working with an active population that wants to move, feel, and live better. He believes fresh air and sunshine are important for healthy living, and he is motivated to help people return to year round outdoor activity.

Along with working with active and health conscious clients, Steve also has a special interest in those with concussion, vestibular disorder, and chronic pain.
